| Vilkath 2007-04-23 ch 14, | abuseI really liked this fic over all, and it's limited/incomplete sequel that I read else where. The start of the fic starts off a bit rocky. I have never been a real lover of Akane, but her aditude in the first few chapters seems a bit much. She just cost Ranma his gender, his species, and his sanity by a few deliberate acts of rage. Yet she still blames him? I know her anger and self delusions usualy can only be surpased by Kuno, still think it was a bit harsh early on. With no real history with Ranma, and no engagement hanging over her head yet I think her guilt would won out a little more early on. Not to mention you sort of glossed over Soun's more active role in her life. If he's actualy putting some effort into training Akane, is he earning money and still teaching? Seemed like you just added in the training to get Akane cursed, then totaly abondend the idea later. Over all I got to say I like this fic though, it's orginal and a bit dark without being OMG I want to shoot myself. Ranma really got the short end of the stick in this fic, but you have to ask yourself. Is being partly insane, cursed as a tiger with the love of Akane and the peaceful life as an animal better or worse then normal Cannon? If you ask me, on most levels being an insane tiger beats the punishment of the normal Nermia chaos any day. |
