Wow. The accident was so ironic - avoiding the drunk and getting hit by a different car instead. Great.

Not many stories like this keep me interested all the way through, but this one sure did. The end reminded me of Terry Pratchett's writing style, which I love, so you get brownie points for that too. Alongside the ones you get for characterization, kick-butt descriptions for the accident scene, well-written "fluff" (for lack of a better term), and Superman's saving of the jet. If all fanfics were written like this one, I'd be a very happy person.

Dick beamed at Alfred's reassuring words. "Cool! Then let's go downstairs and 'Deck the Halls with Boston Charlie!'"

"Yes. Quite." Alfred ceded, beneath an arched eyebrow.

"You could have crashed, Bruce(,) and I wouldn't have *ANYbody*, anymore!" Should there be a comma after anybody? For some reason I don't think there should be. ... Key words there are don't think. ...

This is an incredible story. Absolutely amazing. The only thing that put a slight wrinkle in it for me, was how Bruce kept calling Dick, "chum." But that's all - the rest is absolutely perfect. Finally - a story actually good enough to be labelled, "fanfication" in my book.

Great story! I loved it! It really showed the characters as human beings with all their faults and strengths. I loved the portrayal of Bruise. He was perfect. Barbara was great too! Fantastic story!

... Wow. That was the most intense drama I've ever read. Keep writing, you're one of my favourites.
