That was a lovely little story. I love watching LOTM, but it is the Uncas and Alice story that is unique and tragically romantic. They communicate with their eyes, no words need to be spoken. Nathaniel and Cora were easy to watch but I was transported with Alice and Uncas. I hope perhaps with your wonderful writing skills, you could do a whole story of this unique and amazing couple. Thank you for this short story anyway, it was very sweet.
