i know you said this is how the story ends. but they didn't exchange usernames, emails, phone numbers, addresses..anything? i also know that the penpal thing was addressed as well. just them doing that would give a realistic hope that they could meet up in the u.k. or even go to the same university.

..and maybe you could write a sequel about that? because this was so good.

i love that naruto has a tumblr. and i like that sasuke couldn't stop thinking about naruto. and was so accepting when he kissed him again. such a soothing fic to read because it's like their in their own world really. pretty much just the two of them.

after reading their short convo i was like this is gonna move slow. but then naruto kisses him. i like that. just blatantly kisses him. this fic is soothing to read. i just noticed it's complete. i wish it was longer, but i'm also glad it's not dragged out.

It's a great story. The ending is bittersweet, and there is a certain sadness that shows all through the chapters, but it's a pleasure to read, and it is very realistic. I love what Naruto says about Sasuke forgetting and leaving, because it's what happens in real life, and I love the fact you didn't sugarcoat it. Of course, in my mind, they will stumble upon each other as soon as Naruto will set foot in England, but it's great that you chose to end it the way you did.

This story was really good and really well written ... but I have to be honest and say that I was really hoping that there would be an epilogue where Naruto came to England and he and Sasuke got together again, b/c Sasuke had broken up with Sakura when he realized he couldn't stand pretending to like her as a girlfriend. But I just really love happy endings like that.

You slay me with your words. Really, you do. The whole time I was reading this story, I KNEW it would end like that, but I still wanted to cry at that last paragraph. I'm still slightly hysterical that it turned out the way that it did.

It's just...you capture those three weeks so beautifully. I loved reading all the little moments they spent together. Nothing was too heavy-handed, but it was all so very clear how much their relationship was developing.

The little bits with Mikoto and Itachi added so much, too, just to ground the little holiday-tryst in reality. The alarm clock thing made me laugh, too :D

And the ending, oh my god that ending, made me want to bawl. You always manage to make me FEEL with these stories, and I hate you and love you for that.

SEQUAAAAAAL! Naruto comes back to England when he's 18 right? So that's sequal material right there! RIGHT? *is in denial* I can't believe it ended like that D: I loved this so much but...SEQUAL! :D

I love this. It's so touching, so real. I love how you portrayed Sasuke. Most people tend to make him look either as a horny ass, or as a stuck-up retard who really can't handle the fact the he might be gay. I love how you've looked past that, and how you've made him such a pleasant person. I love the ending, because it's realistic, and honestly, it made me cry like a baby. because ends are never easy, especially these kinds. And I loved how you stated, that any other ending would have been a lie. I agree, it would have been.. because life is like this. Doesn't beat around the bush, when shit ends it ends.

I enjoyed this fic immensely. It's one of those beautiful, calm, bittersweet stories that touches the reader deeply. I felt sort of nostalgic reading this reminding me of times long gone. Oh to be young again, not that I'm that old, but old enough.

One of your biggest advantage is that you kept the plot and characters real and authentic. Though I feel bad for them to have to part like this, such a heart-wrenching scene where you could literally feel the desparation and helplessness and the need to grasp time and make it last, it made the ending perfect. It would have been easy to make Naruto 2 years older and let him return to the UK 2 months later where he'd been studying in the same town as Sasuke or whatever means one could use to create a happy ending, but it would have spoiled the atmosphere. Cause life is just not like this. So it's a good ending, a sad one though, but a good ending nonetheless.

This story was really sweet, but sad too. I nearly cried at the end. I really wonder what would happen to the two of them afterwards.

At the beginning I actually thought the setting was Japan, what with them not understanding the writing and all that, so I was surprised when I realised it was Croatia. I would never have guessed. Have you been there yourself?

Again you've got them all in character, and I especially like Sasuke's relationship with Sakura. It's rare to see him have that good a relationship with her in stories where him and Naruto get together. As for Naruto, I feel he has a complicated past even if we don't get to see all of it.

I enjoyed this. Immensely. And I came so so close to crying at the end :( You have this lovely style that brings out so much emotions, and somehow I felt the ending was very bittersweet. It's a very calm story but at the same time, not. Which doesn't make sense but basically, I liked it xD
