| GoldenRoya 12/2/11 . chapter 1 Oh. Wow. Holy frazzle. I started off reading thinking, "Wow, this author has Ekaterin down pat." Then it moved to, "Dang, that's practically Milesian." Here at the end I'm sitting back, hiding a grin and trying not to cackle like a howler monkey and wondering if LMB herself is on the other end of this. Incredibly well done. Incredibly. | NanC 10/10/11 . chapter 11 Ok, chapters 6-11 had me variously laughing or with a tear in my eye, or in one case both. G It's now 2am and I am going to bed with the wonders of a new Milesian plot newly minted and presented. I am absolutely enthralled with how well you write my favorite characters of all time. happy sigh And I do love that you've included the unnamed kitten, of Zap-the-Cat family lines. :) NanC |
| NanC 10/10/11 . chapter 7 OMG! Where have you been all my fanfic-reading life? I love your story (having read the first 6 chapters in 2 days or so), and can't wait to get back to more. I was, at first, nervous to see 9 stories on the same day by the same author. Usually, a plethora of postings equals bad writing. I'm so happy and excited by your first novel! You do a great job of capturing the characters known voices and thought patterns; describing the scenes; plotting the story for best effect... I'm reading this only a chapter at time so I can spin out my pleasure of it all. :) Great job! NanC |
