These few words moved me. How sad to realize that one is "alone" without the special people that everyone has. I would feel empty too, if I would lose my family,what Rubedo certainly is for Nigredo. Even though there are millions of people on this world...

For me the sensual part isn't so important, for his physical "desire" stays empty and unfulfilling till the end. But rather seems to show the aspect, that the U.R.T.V.'s still are somewhat human (though their mental connection matters more after all).

Very quick, but very well written one-shot. _ I'd say this is one of your best-written short stories to date.

I really enjoy sensual angst fics like this. They're more focussed on the character's emotions rather than needs. And for a character like Nigredo, it makes sense that he'd distance himself from Rubedo, even though he wants him. It's a very complicated kind of love, yes? (perfect for U.R.T.V.s ).

Like I said, I really enjoyed the writing. This fic doesn't go into M-rated territory, but it's more than enough for us to understand Nigredo's feelings towards Rubedo have evolved past mere brotherly love. Of all your U.R.T.V. fanfics so far, I'd definitely say this story features the most definitive incest, without the need for explicit incest, too.

One-shots like these are always a treat for me: very short, yet they pack a lot of material and emotion into a small package. That's not always easy to write. Bravo, my friend! This is a great ficlet, definitely not "pointless," for sure, and this fanfic really brightened my (dreary) afternoon. _
