Simple, beautiful. I started reading this at the exact moment that i began No Surprises by Radiohead, and finished it on the ending note. Perfectly matched. Try it out, it makes all the sad lines ache hopelessly. Beautifully.

I do like the repetition, firstly. The way the summary, title, and drabble itself connected.

I also really like your details, about why he does what he's doing, and at the same time, what is going on around him.

Personally, I would not think that Rin would address Satan as his father, but I can see him doing so in his thoughts.

Overall, a very good character study. I can feel his frustration and sadness through this story.

I especially love how it went into a circle - Rin going to sleep and what he dreams of, then going through the day and at the end of it, dreaming again.

I know I said I was a concritter, but I really couldn't find anything wrong. He was in-character, the details were good, and it was an excellent character study.

I do wish it was a bit longer, but it is a drabble after all.

So good job, and I hope you will post more stories for Ao no Exorcist.
