Hey Laluzi iv'e done some thinking on that Fluffy Bunny thing for Alex Mercer and i plan on bringing him back in fanfiction form but i want to see which one you think is right for him okay so here it goes. Which one of these ladies is the best flffy bunny for Alex Mercer in his future?

You killed me with that ending, I almost stopped breathing.

I loved this part-"all of those veiled threats and Dana's warnings and why the fuck was he in his apartment"- because regardless of the rational reasons behind everything, it all really does just boil down to WHY IS HE IN MY APARTMENT. Love this story, the writing is spectacular, the story and their relationship is brilliant. I don't know much about Prototype, and this is the first I've read about it, but it's definitely good enough.

PARIAH! DAT MOTHERFU... It'll be interesting to see those two meet. Can't wait to see just what Mercer will do 'im. I'm betting that he'll beat the shit out of him. But that's just my guess, he might tie him up with duct tape and then drag him behind a pick up truck. While he's tied to it. Meh.

Mother of god. That is probably the best written (Albeit the first one that I've read) Prototype fanfic that I've read. FAN-TASTIC. If I was Mercer, I'd murder you to gain your talent. Haha, haha, ha, ha...

Glad I decided to read this, usually it's just people trying their best at a half-assed attempt to continue the plot. Personally though, I find that, and this is alot of the time, whenever people try to 'get inside the mind' of a complex character, Alucard, Alex Mercer, LeLouch Lamperouge, basically anyone that ever has had any some form of intelligent speak, they usually fall short. But I must admit, it's nice to see a story that simply didn't try to go with the character completely; and instead has a version of him that is far more believable and no where near as retarded as others attempts at 'speaking' as Mercer.

I found Prototype 2 very unsatisfactory as well - and I think your story is much, much better for the characters. Great action, and I hope to see more soon!

Awesome chapter!

Y'know, I really like your interactions between characters (in general, not just this chapter), especially the Cross-Mercer and Cross-Dana conversations. But the part I liked the most, even above the phone conversations? Greene's few paragraphs. They made the Infected (ever so very-very slightly) sympathetic in a way that Pariah's actions just haven't, so far. In fact, if anything, it seemed to increase their threat level, in my mind (and not just because Cross is their next target). I don't think I'm explaining it well, but those paragraphs just... resonated, and fit perfectly in with everything.

Anyway, this chapter was mostly setup, yes? I can't wait for the next one, looks amazing from where I'm sitting.

Awesome story!

Wow. This chapter is my favorite in the story so far. So many fics have Dana either finding out the truth of her "brother" off-screen, and/or having no trouble with it at all. The revelation scene in this story is the most realistic I've seen. It was very in character, and I loved how even though Dana had problems accepting the truth, she doesn't turn away from her "brother".
