Love love LOVED this! I just discovered this story and as a fan of both Ziva and McGarrett I was delighted to read this. I've been so sick of the writers jerking us around with Tiva especially after the disaster that was Ray in S8/9 that I've been looking for good fics that have her with someone good (and not within NCIS like Zibbs or McGiva, even though there are really well written fics with those pairings that I love). Have wondered what they'd be like (Ziva and Steve) and gotta say that I loved your backstory and the history you gave them. Am off to read the sequel now. Hope you'll write more.

BLIMEY. This is why I need to get onto crossover pages more often! I really enjoyed this tale; you kept the characters pretty well in form (even though McGarrett was a little sappy I kinda liked it lol) and the story flowed well.

Wow, this story was...all-inclusive, lol. If you had added Fornell, I think everyone ever mentioned in the show would have had a part! I am a Tiva shipper, but I do like the Ziva/McGarrett pairing, and their back story was interesting and plausible. The case plot had me kinda lost, but I think I finally got it. Ziva might have been a little OOC to me, but hey-different strokes, right? I think you nailed the 5-0 characters, though. Now, I'm off to read part 2!

Nice chapter. Liked the little heart to heart Steve had with Ducky. Would like to see more Ziva/Steve but I guess they can't get too distracted with the case still going on.

Loving this story so far. Like how you brought back all the old characters throughout NCIS and are using them.

Also, I did notice in chapter 12 in the flashback you said Ziva and Malachi but it was Michael with Ziva in the chapter 11 flashback.
