Ugh. I hate this.

No, not the story. But the way Bella is so hard on Edward. Yes, he's made mistakes and he's paid for them. He's trying but she never, ever give him enough credit. And now he's even put it out there, that he loves her and that he's even ready, willing, and able to give up his career for "normal" with her and Mason. But it's still not enough. And she refuses to see the truth of what he told her she's doing...she won't be happy, Garret won't be happy, and in the end Mason will suffer because he will see that neither of them are happy. Who wins?

Oh, and now there's something else? I'm guessing it has to do with her health and that's why she's so hell-bent on marrying Garret. Pfft. While Bella continues to hold Edward's mistakes against him...she's making her own, which she so blindly is unable to see. Great. And where are her so-called friends who supposedly have her best interests are heart too? Edward made his mistakes. He's trying and he is Mason's father. By constantly reminding him of his mistakes, I think Bella is condemning him to repeating them because she can't or won't let go.

Wow, this is ripping my heart out. I didn't see Bella's rejection coming. Should have known there was something bigger, some reason she didn't hold out for Edward in the first place, why she took up with Garrett. :(
