SilverThorn 5/3/02 . chapter 1Hey. I just wanted to tell you that I loved your other two stories. They were so sad, but I felt that Fate left it rather... unfinished. So, a few months ago, I stumbled upon your site and found Dive to Blue: Chapters 1-3. However, you kind've died. * There haven't really been any updates on that site for some time. I just checked today, and you still only have 1-3 posted. Now that you have this up here, are you going to write more? I hope so... I love the story.

Otaku Pitcher 4/27/02 . chapter 1 Dear Gerald,
I really got into reading FY fanfiction about a year ago, and (on , if anyone cares...), happened to find _Butterfly's Sleep_ first. I was immediately hooked on your wonderful descriptions and incredible writing. I feel that this praise sounds empty, but I assure you that this praise is anything but empty. Anyway, I've always wanted to get the chance to tell you how much I've enjoyed your stories. I'd have to say that _Butterfly's Sleep_, _Fate_, and now (much to one VERY happy reader's surprise), _Dive to Blue_, are definantly the very best FY stories I have ever read. And to say that I haven't read MANY a story is an extremely large lie. I've read every story on anipike, , and probably all of yahoo, lycos, altavista, and pretty much anywhere else, and every story you touch, to me, ends up as gold.
I first happened upon this particular installment when checking to see if A-Ano had updated, (which, at this point, it hadn't) and decided to check a few other sites, and, by pure accident, saw that you had begun a "three-quel." I'm not sure what I said/did first, but it went something like this *jumps up and down in her seat, tries to squeal but finds that she can't even make a noise, then clicks to read the first three chapters.* I must sound rather scary, mustn't I? I assure you that I'm not obsessive, just merely on a caffein high (that particular day). I don't even know if you will ever read this, nor if you even care, I guess all I really wanted to say can be summed up in a grand total of two words: thank you. Thank you very much Gerald Tarrant for giving me a few hours of pleasurable, non-published, reading.
Your Faithful Reader Always,

 ryven64 4/27/02 . chapter 1 hey, i'm the first to review! )
I love your stories "Butterfly's Sleep" and "Fate", and so, naturally, I love this one too! Your plots are really interesting and original, and it's nice to see that other people sympathize for the Seiryuu seishi and see them in a different light. Please keep updating (btw, I also like the song "Dive to Blue"; it's really cool!) |
