Oh, it was so great to see this story updated! I'm kinda surprised those other appliances didn't fight harder to keep our guys around, but of course I'm glad they didn't. So that whole musical scene never actually happened then? Or maybe it did, and the effects on Kirby will show up later? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here, especially with our man..uh..apliance Jack on board.

Well the last one was just to let you know I was here, now after being reminded a bit more of the details of this story, and reading your profile, I hope to get a little more in depth. Aw, Kirby may be stubborn and grumpy, but he is endearing. So that AC is the same creepy one from the first movie? I can't remember if I was creeped out by that scene when I was little, I must've been a bit, but when I went back and watched the movie last week it occurred to me how disturbing it really was. I started calling him Jack Nicholson AC, lol. Then I watched that part again a bit later, and I began to sympathize with him a bit more. He was clearly unstable, and was probably even more insecure than the others, although not wanting to admit it. For the purposes of this story though, what I hope you will reveal at some point though is how he happened to be restored. As for Rob, good for him for resisting the throw-away culture most of us fall into!

I just logged in after having problems for about a week. I just wanted to tell you I read this story and I love it! The movie was one of my favorites as a kid, (I've only seen the first one), and on a whim I watched it again recently, and loved it again! I must say though I was surprised that I had liked it so much as a kid, and how much of it's dark elements slipped past me. I guess we just see things differently as kids... We see the same things, but they register differently. Anyway, I'll definitely be keeping up with this one!
