I read both earthly possessions and here's to you together, so this is sort of a review for both.

They were both great! Poor crowley...he really does seem to get the harsh end of the stick these days, doesn't he? He saves the angel, the angel saves him...so they're pretty much equal now, right?

I think your story was awesome, and very well written, but compared to the prequel, the ending was absolutuly terrible! It was like it was leading up to a nice semi-fuzzy ending, and then it ended like THAT! (I am, however, a happy ending addict, so I suppose I'm a tad biased, but STILL!)

I just finished reading this fic and the fic before it (Earthly Possessions) in one go instead of doing the history final that I was *supposed* to be doing.
Bloody brilliant writing on both of these. I won't lie, I liked Earthly Possessions better, but Here's To You was great as well. It's been a long time since the ending of a fic twisted in my chest quite the way Chapter 17 of HtY did. It was just so *sad* how after all that happened in EP and HtY (especially with Aziraphale's grief over Crowley in EP and the touching hug at the end), that Crowley and Aziraphale parted ways like that. But, as another reviewer said, liking the ending and accepting the ending are two different things.
If you write another story to follow this one up, I should very much like to read it, but if not, I still like it muchly the way it is. Excellent work.

and i feel very, very sorry for aziraphale and crowley at the moment. hurt feelings and confusion all around, very tangible.

Once again, an enjoyable story, but looking at the "published" and "last update" dates renews my desire to never read a work-in-progress.
I found the ending especially poingant, but am not as happy with your copiuos use of holy-water.
Once again, fewer sections would have made this a smoother read, but oerall it was a good story, and one of teh very rare longer ones, in this fandom.

Was thinking of reviewing more than once to push it up to 100. Ah well.
O. Despair. Can't wait to read the next part. *nodnod* And Lynch reminded me of Callisto (from Xena, ya know?) Must've been fun to write him.

Great job. Lynch is a great adversary, clever and ruthless and powerful. I really liked the bit where he storms into his flat after Crowley warns him off and wreaks havoc among the other tenants.
Of course, Crowley warning him off Aziraphale is a fantastic bit, too.
I particularly like the final two chapters; you build up the mood so well in them. The worry and desperation in 16 (favorite part is when Crowley states that the pen is waterproof); and what should have been a victory in 17 but is really more grief and guilt and a kind of defeat. Little touches like Crowley sitting on the other side of the fence and his inability to pull in his broken wing really add so much.
And boy am I glad I found this story after you'd finished :-)
