Luna's death seems fishy I think she was Ponynapped and the body they have was faked by dark magic,

I mean first she can fly soon of she thought she could not win she could run plus she knew how dangerus the EverFree forest is so I do not think she would go their even if she was mad,

I think this is a power play with Celista so sad she my be eseyer to kill.

What I'm thinking is that she either staged her death so she can back at Celestia or something. Or she committed suicide.

This is a great story and right now it can go anywhere, like Nihgt Sheild killing Luna or she faking her death, I don't think it was just some beast because really most nomral ponies can handle most beast in Everfree.

The funeral scene…

Beautifully written. The speeches, the mane cast, and Celestia. The opened coffin funeral added some oomph to it as well. The hymn of tears statement was strong, and the way Luna was carried off to the graveyard: tear jerking.

I also want to say that the way you wrote Pinkamena was spot on. The way she sympathized with grey Maine Celestia and the words she used were completely in character.

Now, a few things bother me.

First, I don't trust the Navy Shield guy for some reason. I am sure that Luna was strategically murdered, and the fact that his team was the first on the scene, and the official, professional, to the point way he gave his speech really irked me. It seemed he was urging then to move on too much. I can't tell if you're planning on making this a "whodunit?" murder mystery, but if you are, I'm betting my money on him.

Second, where you write that a group of seven felt something as the coffin flew up, and they realized Luna wasn't coming back, my first thoughts were a group of ponies in black cloaks feeling pride as their murder plot succeeded. It took a while for me to realize you were referring to the Mane Cast and Spike. But that's just my conspiracy theory mindset going too far.

Third, what's up with Twilight? What did she notice about the path of the coffin? Conspiracy theory! I can't wait for the next chapter!
