The thing I love most about your two fics (Playtime and then Replay) besides the AMAZINGLY AWESOME SMUT is your characters. The first time I read Italy dominating at all was your last fic, and the first time I read Italy topping was this fic right here. And best of all, it's done realistically and true to character. In addition to the BDSM (which I didn't realize I liked so much before these fics), these fics first off stress the actual love and adoration between them, and the trust necessary to be able to introduce pain without crossing the line, and the fact that they are realistically equal in this relationship (there isn't one designated UKE and one designated SEME, which bothers me about a lot of Yaoi).

Usually, Germany is portrayed as this super amazing sex god giving it to the doe eyed virgin Italy, but as far as realistic characterization goes, Germany is awkward as hell in canon. Canon Germany would want to be dominated, and want to lose control. Meanwhile, canon Italy, though he is a goofy coward, has other aspects to his personality. He's still a multi-dimensional character, and nobody is one way all the time. I think that was captured very well in your two fics. Absolutely lovely work.

Even though it's more or less a PWP, you still manage to insert believable characters that aren't just empty husks of flesh people are supposed to be fapping over.
