I like this. I think how you depicted Merlin's grieving was pretty in-character. Usually he sucks it all in, but everyone has a breaking point, and it was a pretty intense week for him. Nice work with this. I like how you brought in Sir Leon, I'm excited to see where you'll go with this (although, in all honesty, I think I've read this before. Whatevs, it's been a little while in any case.) Keep up the nice work :)

That was very good :) I think it was a subject that needed to be addressed and you handled it very well. I'd like to see more of this story, such as when Arthur realizes that being a dragonlord includes having magic. That'd be a fairly interesting conversation to witness, I think :) Keep writing!

I really enjoyed this fiction. Very well written, and I think Merlin and Arthur are in character. It was nice to see Arthur realise exactly Merlin had to cope with!

Gosh, this story makes drinking look extremely undesirable. But really, Merlin need to let some of those pent-up emotions out sometimes, not keepthem bottled-up like that. It's not healthy!

poor Merlin... I felt so bad when Balinor died. He did only get to know him for a day... it doesn't quite seem fair. I can see why he would do something normally completely out of character like this. it's kind of sad that Arthur doesn't realize... but I think he would figure it out eventually, since he does point out that he saw Merlin crying over Balinor.

*sigh*

I do wish poor Merlin had gotten a little comfort from Arthur, but it was beautifully done otherwise. :)
