Hm, this seems like the first chapter of a story you obviously never got to continue. Which is a shame as - although I must agree with Louie that this is rather strongly pro-Maeve (don't get me wrong I'm a M/S shipper as well, however I came to like Bryn as a character and friend of the crew) - this makes for a really interesting plot. As far as I get it the child would have been Maeve's (and supposedly Sinbad's) future kid, wouldn't she? And with not searching for Maeve like he should have done he's just about to wipe that reality out for good. This is a great idea for a fic. So cudos to you for being so inventive! ;o)

You seem extremely pro-Maeve and equally anti-Bryn. A bit un-nerving, though it indisputably makes for a good story.
