This is a really good story so far! I'd love to read more of it and listen to more of Bartimaeus' witty comments to his summoner. Please continue to write more so I can see how the relationship and the plot go on! :)

Wow, your story is brilliant :) i love your characters, Bartimaeus is as good as ever, and this Egyptian girl (...should I know who she is already?) is precisely the kind of master fit for him. "You're acting like a five years old" is a comment I completely agree with, and the way she isn't impressed by Bart, bored even, is a pleasant change. The plot is also very original and I'm anxious, where will it lead :)

Ooh! I like this, I like this a lot. There's a few typos in here, but nothing too major, and it doesn't affect the story's flow. One question: How could Bartimaeus be waving his arms around while he was a pile of dust? I'm confused... I wonder... is the girl who summoned Bartimaeus the same one in the first chapter? (Don't answer that)
