pari106 2002-06-01 ch 3,	abuseYay! I'm glad Eliann isn't too stubborn in her beliefs in the Familiars' ideals. Watching a character progress from one extreme to the other (totally hating transgenics to loving one) can be interesting, but I have the feeling that drawing that scenario out a long ways would have been tedious to write. So the easier and faster progression that you present works better. Nice. Good characterization of Ames, too. Can't wait for more.

You could see how Eliann is falling in love with Alec. I thought the fight with White was very detailed. I could see it happening as I read. Very good. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for another installment.

pari106 2002-05-07 ch 2,	abuseJust gets better! This is great - this casual, realistic development of their relationship...Eliann's conflicting emotions/thoughts. She seems to be getting to like Alec and she obviously hasn't had a very happy life as a Familiar, yet she's still all caught up on that anti-transgenic propoganda her society spoon feeds its members. Hope we see more of that, and of both her and Alec's POVs, in the chapters to come. Great job! Please write more soon! :D

(One thing, though: I believe the correct spelling of the Familiars' phrase is 'Finnis Tol'. It's Latin, or something.)

Deb1 2002-04-30 ch 1,	abuseThis is an interesting premise. I like it alot. Your other stories were good and well written. I'd personally like to seeing you lean toward drama and not just romance. You've had hints of real drama in your other two DA stories featuring Alec. This one has alot of potential for suspense as well. Hopefully a little Hurt/Comfort. That's just a personal thing with me. I love Hurt/Comfort, but mixed in with drama and adventure. Makes a story reviting. Good work. Look forward to the next chapter.
