You really painted a very interesting picture of a future where Shinji's the boss and gave enough hints as to who is there and why plus no hints as to if he's with someone or not. You should head over to the forums and introduce yourself there, as well as getting any help or assistance as you don't even seem to have a pre-reader. Anyway... story. Cool title, very well written and although similar ideas have been done this is really interesting. My advice would be to work in some backstory as to why Shinji is like this but your style is amazing. If you need a pre-reader then e-mail me but I'd suggest making a trip to the forums.
