this is a little redunant nurological damage is brain damage if you were trying to compare physical with mental you wanted phsycological which means pertaining to the mind

Ok, it is ObsidianEmbrace's fault that I have to get up in just about 2.5 hours to go to work. This story was simply amazing. You my friend are a genius. The storyline, the character development (I loved Sev's first person comments, had me laughing and crying), supsense, was all awesome. It would have driven me crazy to have had to wait for update on this one. I bow to you oh great one!

Beautiful story. For a while there I didn't think a happy or good ending was possible, but you pulled it off and made it believable. I hope that you keep writing, you've got the talent.

i can just envision, the next time harry goes to sleep, in bed curled up in the arms of sirius (nothing sexual, just comfort from an adult, like a child would after a nightmare or something). they would be so cute!

That was deliciously good. It was so suspenseful at times that I was literally freaking out and hanging on the edge of my seat.

Your way of writing from Severus' point of view was VERY entertaining. He's so snarky and sarcastic that no matter what sort of situation he was in I couldn't hold in my snorts. He always was thinking the wrong things at the wrong times, and it was just too much! Hehe!

...Though, I am disappointed that you didn't show Harry's Animagus form to the rest of the gang. I would have loved to read their reactions.

What a wonderful, totally inspired fic! ^o- I only just found it a few days ago, and there's just so much fantastic content that it's taken up till now for me to reach the last chapter (a bittersweet moment for any reader of a fabulous fic :P), and I just have to tell you that this was a fantastic read altogether! Your beta must have been really up on her game, and you as a writer were definately just as up on yours. ^-^ Sirius' affenction for Harry and vice versa was totally sweet, but there's a reason this got put into the angst catagory... At least the finale ended with some hope for the future! I loved all 42 chapters, and what a wonderful finish indeed! XD Major dedication went into this, and for that, I solute all involved! 8)

OMG! This was the most amazing story ever written! You're an outstanding writer!! I don't even have words to describe how madnificent story this was! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

Good overall, but making Snape a good guy almost seems strange. The oddest thing was that you could sort of predict the Animagus form, but in the end it wasn't used for much. I half expected Harry to cheat death and be reborn that way.

Also the hints given made it seem likely that a link of some form might buffer Harry, but I was half expecting one or perhaps more than one of the women in Harry's life to help out there. Snape was a non obvious alternative I suppose.

Finally there is a lot of non story content that could easily be removed to clean things up a bit.

Again, it was a good story. Thanks for sharing it.

Note, most bedroom doors open inward, which would make the hinge pens on the inside. If I was trying to break out of a room like that, then removing the hinge pins would be a far easier target than the lock.. (You might be able to use a clothes hanger.)
