Fleur50 5/4/12 . chapter 1Wow! |
EdwardsGuardianAngel 3/30/12 . chapter 1I really do hope there will be more outtakes. Especially Edward & Bella as well as Jasper & Alice. |
Kalinca62 11/7/11 . chapter 1Very nice Aussiegirl! Carlisle and Esme as teenagers was so sweet. He loved her very much. So sad that he couldn't find the strength to carry on after she died. Esme would have wanted him to be there for their children - very sad indeed. |
SuperC 11/1/11 . chapter 1 Hey Aussiegirl, Yes, it is a sad story. When one's other half goes, like Esme to Carlise, I imagine that the world light dimes in half and life becomes dull like food with no taste. But the reality is that when children exist, the other half just lost lives in them. Then things make sense, life is real in them, and the children deserve the best we can offer because the half lost is real in them and I think Carlise forgot this. He forgot that he's seeing the children growing up and maturing is also part of the joy of life that can assist with the pain. I think. Till next time, SuperC |
jaycee12 10/31/11 . chapter 1“The end result of your life here on earth will always be the sum total of the choices you made while you were here.” Very sad - but a real nice touch having a Carlisle outtake - Thanks AG |
taurus14 10/31/11 . chapter 1A very tender sweet moment in Carlisle's life, I love back stories anyway, gives some insight into the character and helps to understand them better. Also it was some back story on Esme and her sweet maternal nature, not that I would condone what Carlisle did but it certainly is clear where he was coming from, in his mind there was no life without her. |
garrigan-nass 10/31/11 . chapter 1Oh dear. Here I am weeping at this beautiful piece of writing. It didn't help that I, too, am a cat person and that accident nearly did me in as well. Beautifully, tenderly written. Thanks for this outtake. I did have a bit of a hard time with Carlisle's decision as it seemed so incredibly selfish. While I can appreciate the depth of his love and devotion to Esme, he still devastated his children by ending his own life. I'm sure Esme would not have been pleased by his choice. I so enjoy learning more about an author's writing process. This was such an interesting exercise. Have you written from any one else's perspective? |
stefter 10/30/11 . chapter 1I was so surprised to see an outtake. Although this was very sad, it was nice to get some Carlisle perspective. I'm looking forward to more outtakes. |
Bunch2009 10/30/11 . chapter 1I feel so much for them. My heart breaks for Carlisle but what he did was not fair to his kids. Thank you for writing this outtake. It was a pleasant surprise. |
ana1973 10/30/11 . chapter 1That was really sad, he saw no life after Esme died but he didnt realize that there were children who needed him so badly especially young ones. :( |
