...I didn't like the original version and I don't like this one either to be honest, the over use of the word 'bro', indicates that the writer is trying and failing to be cool.

Just like Megalo Rex you will also have Zane having these super duper move combo's that are just stupid and make no sense, I refuse to read anymore of this in my own opinion, trash story.

Unless Zane was carrying one of the Pokemon, four Pokemon should have followed him out of the room.

With you adding Meowth, you have to watch for mistakes like this - I think I've seen others. ;) I probably should have said something sooner...
