I know that kudzu is a terrible, out of control thing here in the States, but in Japan it's used to make a sweet tofu and is even considered a delicacy (according to a kudzu faq)! Personally, I think your story is a wonderful thing. :-)

Thank you for giving Kate and Rick another chance. Whether Rick ever knows how it came to be or not, Kate is his, forever and a day. I'm not sure that he even needs to know. It's enough that they have each other...

Really nice, and puts the detail of "the envelope" into context. Nice having someone other than Rick know more about what is going on than he does: Kate and Johanna are both in the know while Rick remains without a clue? Good. Thanks for making Meredith the villain of this segment; so, still no interaction with the police by Rick, only with the hospital? I he going to write a series of books about the adventures of Dr. Nicole Heat as a result of this interaction? Nice inclusion of Martha (I love those mother/son scenes; possibly because Martha doesn't put up with any of Rick's charming B.S.) in this tale.

Hope this one stretches out a few more chapters (I know that you were expecting me to request that: I didn't want to disappoint).

Just out of curiosity, you wouldn't happen to be a Doctor Who fan by any chance, would you? Because this whole time paradox/alternate timelines thing is an awful lot like something Steven Moffat would write. I know that I'm on of the possible three Fans of Josh to b found in the entirety of Castle-dom, but you were really hard on that self-centered medical prince. (Of course he's self-centered; he's a damn surgeon: and I get to look at their mistakes, so I am well acquainted with their inflated egos.) I love these little twists and turns you feature in your stories, and I never would have thought of taking this course. Very, very refreshing. Looking forward to the next chapter and epilogue (unless, of course, this one expands into 30 or so chapters . . . hint.) Perhaps Kate and Rick will FINALLY get it together: very meta if even his time-jumping efforts still fail to led to an inevitable Caskett.

Okay, I've stated my comments regarding time travel: but this one is really fun!

OM you have knocked it out of the park with this one. The history shift has opened the door for all kinds of very interesting twists and turns, and you are one of the very few writers in this space with the imagination and mental discipline to keep the characters in cannon while running through this all new landscape.
