I really think you should continue this yourself. Besides the fact that it's really well written, you're developing a nice case of what I'm guessing is symmetrical schismogenesis between Hoshi & Malcolm (assuming it means the two involved become more like rather than more separated). He's loosening up, she's becoming more disiplined.

Do continue, it's very good.

Mara, this was a very interesting read. I think it's fascinating that you have cast Hoshi as the anthropologist, and that she's looking in their little world instead of at the usual alien culture. Neat inversion. And bonus ;-) for the R/S shippiness.

I know this has been up at the LD for a while but I hadn't read "Schismogenesis" until now. I realised that I missed out! I'm glad you emphasised Malcolm's development over the course of the season, and the fact that you included a lot of stuff on anthropology. Keep up the good work! See you at the LD.

Although I'd love to hear what happens next, perhaps we can just apply this to the episodes themselves. It's commendable to know your limits, too, because sometimes people don't, and the story suffers. This is very interesting, I think that I'd like psychology class alot more if it was taught like this.

That's a really interesting perspective on the T'Pol/Trip relationship, and it would certainly explain why there's always so much misunderstanding between the two, yet the chemistry clearly exhists. I commend the research that went into this piece, a lot of love and time must have gone into the writing process, and it shows. It's too bad that you decided not to continue or to make it a longer running story, but I'm glad you posted it so we could all enjoy it. :)
