"Holding onto his glasses..." No. Wait. Stop there.
That glasses is Texas. When he was a colony, there was no way he had Texas. No way. So... he shouldn't even be having one.

It's okay not to be great with history (even for a writer in the Hetalia fandom), but if you're writing a fanfic with a plot that revolves around a historic event, like this one does, it's good to do at least a small amount of research on the subject while you're writing. Even if you only know a little bit about your subject, it's fairly easy to pad out your knowledge and make it seem like you know more than you do.
What really stands out in cases like these is things like your reference to America and England speaking over the telephone. The Boston Tea Party occurred in 1773; the telephone was not invented until the 1870s, so England and America should not be using one.

it DOES have a plot! And it's an awesome plot! Don't worry, country names confuse me to.
No matter how much I love USUK, i've never been able to get around the fact that they're brothers. Same with Germancest. But you addressed the issue...and then I got over it.
Hungary approves (except, Austria's vital regions are so much better to invade)
