All the feelings! I've been in Bella's shoes. Sometimes, even though I'm sure I've done something at work, one word of doubt from someone can get me questioning everything. It's such an awful feeling when you feel like you've messed up at work. Gah. And then Edward's job, what a hard day he had. It's nice that they now have each other at times like these. Excellent chapter as always. Thanks for the update!

Heartbreaking but still so beautiful. Reminder that even though you may have your own little difficulties and people after you for whatever reason, there is always someone experiencing something worse or very different. Not to diminish them or pity them, but to consider and balance your path and reaction based on that. Your thing may not be so terrible in the grand scheme of life and the universe.

Seriously, best chapter!Ii really like how you tell their relationship from the beginning, how shy bella was but then after meeting edward, she changed. I like how easy their relationship are, how they are so comfortable with each other.

and New York! I mean, what a perfect setting. I like how you seem to really know NY area and culture and put them to this story.

Now, whenever I listen to DMB, I always remember these two hahaha

What a lovely chapter. Even with the backdrop of such sadness, you managed to make their lovemaking sweet and beautiful. Gosh, Edward's heartache was so palpable.
And sadly, the confused woman on the street really was true to life. Dementia is such a horrible disease and the caregivers, formal and informal, are so strong, as are the affected individuals. You wrote that scene very well.

Wow, what a chapter! I have an 19-month old boy, so I was nervous at first about reading, and I truly was heartbroken, but I am so glad I pressed on. What a lovely chapter, and full of so many wonderful moments-between Bella and Renee, Bella and Victoria, Edward and Agnes, Edward and the little baby, Edward and Bella. You REALLY filled this chapter with moments that make life both miraculous and tragic-but always amazing and worth living to the fullest every day. On the heels of the storm in Oklahoma, we would all do well to appreciate each day to the fullest!

what an intense chapter. i'm glad edward and bella have one another, that they take their daily pressures, the agonies and stresses, and instead of using them as an excuse to run away from intimacy, use them as a reason to lean even more on one another.

I help but think of Danny on SCI NY while reading this reference to Edward! I love it.
