I have read this story many times. I still think it is a beautiful story. The strength and support everyone gives Becky is wonderful. Becky and Dan are a couple who endure what life gives them and remain strong. More Boone stories. :)

Nothing like a little frontier angst to see what these characters are made of. ;-) You've captured all of the characters really well, but most especially Becky. I liked the way Israel figures out something's wrong with his Ma and the way Mingo lends his support to Daniel. Nicely done.
