Aww. What a sweet story. I have to admit that Malcolm's "chalk and cheese" phrase got a good laugh out of me. Being American, I've never heard that phrase before.

I liked this. I especially liked the notion that Stuart and Malcolm had been very close once, and that what stands between them is merely the difficulty of *talking* to each other. It's what often happens, isn't it.

I also enjoyed, of course, the Trip and Malcolm conversation. Hurrah for friendship stories!
