This was interesting, I'd never thought of this pairing before. I love non-cannon pairings (not that there are any real "cannon" pairings in Enid Blyton books but you know what I mean lol), this was great :)

I liked this! It was fun, and I had never thought about this pairing before. I like the idea of Daphne having a wicked sense of humor, and Alicia taking all of Malory Towers' teaching of "sense" as gospel. I thought that some parts of the story could be fleshed out more, but in a way, it worked, since Alicia is pretty clueless about emotions (hers and other people's) and this is a good reflection of what Alicia would think and notice.
