The genealogies of the X-men and their - acquaintances - flutter in the wind. At one time Wanda and Pietro are Magneto's children. At another, they're the children of Miss America and Whizzer. Lorna Dane was Polaris last I looked, but it's possible to argue she's Santa Claus' daughter. Her name and powers both came because she was raised near the North Magnetic Pole. (Marvel hasn't said that, I don't think, but they very well could sometime in the next decade or two.) Don't worry about it.

| Blusilver 2/13/13 . chapter 1
Fantastic story, so far. The only things I'm caught up on are these: How does an eleven-year-old know and understand fully what a one-night stand is? More so, how could one be so nonchalant about it? In addition, though this could easily be explained away, eleven-year-olds, no matter how well brought up, are bound to act childish. Easily offended, quick to insult, etcetera. Ron's character was negatively dramatized to an almost cartoonish point, and Harry's and Hermione's unrealistically matured. Just wanted to point this out for future reference, if this is read at all.

Interesting set-up. I'm going through your backlog at the moment, and this one leapt out at me.
Incidentally, the reason that Magneto is enough of a threat for the UN to have plans specifically against him, alone, in comicverse - and the reason why he had to spend so long studying his powers - is because he controls electromagnetism, one of the fundamental forces of the universe. Essentially, if it can occur naturally, he can do it - turn invisible, shoot heat rays out of his arse, whatever. Pretty sure he's thrown lightning a couple of times in the comicverse, and he can manipulate non ferrous metals through diamagnetism or paramagnetism. Ah, and that includes control of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is ALL forms of waves.
Yeah, I studied up on Physics just so I could learn more about how ridiculously overpowered he would be in the real world compared to the comics.
