Wait, he's only twenty-six? And he would have been younger when this whole thing started in the first place, right?

... okay, I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure that's too young. A quick Google search (which, again, could be wrong) tells me that you need about four years of college, four years of medical school, a year internship, and two years of residency. If we assume he graduated at age 18 and he went through school fast enough to skip two years, he could arguably be a fresh pediatrician right now. But he wouldn't have been one two years ago.

OMG I was waiting for this chapter! U r my favorite writer of all time, u always have so much detail and passion in ur wriiting, u really like writing stories, huh? *gasp* u should be an author i'd read those books anyday. Another reason why I love reading ur stories so much is bcuz u write Stanman friendship annd tht is sooo rare.

Wow, so touching, I loved how touched Butters was when Stan called him his friend, u r my fav author of all time with no doubt, my favorite chapter in this story so far is Kyle's letter, but the letter I'm looking forward to the most by far is Cartman's. Even though I hate, hate, HATE slash, if I had to pick one couple to like, it would definitely StanMan.

Just wanted to say that I really love your writing - not just this story or the one preceding it but everything you've done so far! In fact, your dedication is what may make me start doing fics of my own if I can find good enough ideas to write about!

The "darkness" story was just incredible, detailed, well written, everything - as if it could have been made an SP feature length movie - I mean that!

Count me among those who would like to see you continue this letters' story for many, many more chapters, especially at a quicker up-date pace if possible. Personally, I think that there would be room for a letter from Stan to every person who he dealt with or came into contact with while he was sick with his disease. Taken together, they provide an interesting post-script on what happened.

Closing now, just to say I have loved your SP work especially in these two stories - they are what may drive me to start my own fics. Please keep a quick update schedule if you can (god knows - I know life and things in general can get in the way!

I have no complaints about how you have written so far - its been great - really, engrossing, pulling me in (I'm sure others as well).

If I make one suggestion - from the canon of the series itself, it shows that Stan was closest to his mother - that being said, i'd like to see his mother's letter be at least two chapters, but more importantly, have his letter to his mother somehow be the FINAL thing that lifts her from her crushing depression.

Finally maybe the letters to the other boys like cartman, etc might soften his view towards what happened.

I am still interested in Stan's letters. I didn't even realize this was updated until I checked my favorites and saw it was last updated on December 20th. Suddenly my email has stopped sending me chapter alerts even though I'm pretty sure I have this on story alert. In fact Every story I've ever liked on the first reading is on story alert. I think it might be a problem with my email settings. I use AOL and it never used to not work.

AW! I loved it! So, so, so, so, so much! I liked this letter out of the other two, becuase not only does it sound like somthing that Stan would say to his SBF, but it was well written and had just a tad, OOC (which is whay I loved it so much, LONG LIVE STYLE! ) Sorry, got a little, aheam, yeeeeeeaaaah. Nice heartwarming letter.

I have a term I use for myself, Danger Slut. I stole it from a article when they pointed out Marty McFly's mom only liked seeing guys in danger. That's me for Stan or Kyle and judging from what you write you might have a bit of it as well. I enjoy it even if it's quite terrible. But terrible things do tend to happen to Kyle in the show (Cartmanland, Cherokee Hair Tampons, Imaginationland was a big one for me) So another thing I enjoy is the playing off of Stan and Kyle on one another and the reactions if one is sick, hurt, in danger, ect. So actually when this popped up in my inbox I jumped at the chance to read Kyle reacting to Stan's death. Again I am a terrible person and don't really seek it out but when I see it I can't help but read.

I really love when you write Stan and Kyle (and I definitely don't mean slash) they're cute at age 13 and I loved the little subtle things in both their personalities seeping through in this writing. Stan and his animals of course but what got me was Kyle updated his bedroom and Stan could never bear to throw anything out. I never considered that but it fits perfectly when I try to get into Stan's head when I try to write stories about him. I'm glad you caught me by surprise like that. Kyle's depression and mourning was heavy to read, the crush of sadness in the words. May I say maybe Kyle's reactions as he read Stan's letter tended to be a tad repetitive but how else could Kyle react when Stan landed a zinger in his letter, maybe try mixing up phrasing at times?

My favorite part in this was Stan and Kyle joking about which of them would die first. It was painful as poor Kyle had to recall that but it was so wonderfully Stan and Kyle and their typical banter. It made me smile a bit and I couldn't even read HTDS all the way through.

Again I was just curious of Kyle's reaction and probably won't comment anymore (unless you do a horrible ironic letter to Kenny, probably not) but I would definitely favorite it if it had been a one shot. I hope you write more Stan and Kyle friendship fics in the future.

Such a sweet chapte,r I liked it how even though u made Shelly look like an asshole in her younger years to stan, but that letter made me cry.
