Oh my gosh, I loved this! So full of color, so many layers; subtle and direct all at the same time. I love your characterizations, with all their little quirky human traits..this is rare, most people just go with strict canon as far as their personalities, and you show them as real people with real human goofiness and sweetness. The image of Sephiroth speaking multiple languages, Zack's childlike petulance at being sick, Angeal's grumpiness (I totally agree with him about 9 am being too early to be awake!), and Genesis's smug, contented possessiveness...all lovely. I especially love this line: "The snow casts sparkles of light through the curtains to dance on the wall." Beautiful.

And it's so nice to see Genesis depicted as someone with more depth than the usual spoiled, sulky brat that so many writers of fanfiction do. You have talent. Keep writing! :)

Seriously. This story...I don't know. I don't know. I fell in love with it while I was reading it, or maybe when I read the summary.

Sephiroth sucking his fingers: why is this so adorable for him? He seems like a child of the relationship too, and this is sweet. :D

Angeal: in general, I just love how Angeal needs care too, because usually, he's shown as the patient mother.

Zack: Sweet, bouncy, and playful as always. I love how Genesis didn't push him away or scowl at him in this fic; it would've taken away from the effect. I really love him in this one.

And last but not least, the narrator. You portrayed Genesis as he should be shown; not a pervert with poetry (xD) but a sweet-hearted fiery thing who takes care of everyone else. In his own way, of course. I love him in this fic, I really, really do. Gosh. Thank you so much for writing this one, and I could NOT tell it was your first time using Genesis as the main character. He really flowed nicely from your fingertips. :3

I really liked this! I thought it was beautiful and well written (you made Seph quite cute I thought :D) and I think you captured Gen amazingly! This is the kind of Genesis I like! I think he's a sweet, sensitive, romantic soul under the bitchiness.

Hey there, LNR. I read this quickly yesterday, and more thoughtfully just now. While this explores a relationship between these men that is different from how I usually understand them, I don't mind at all following your ideas. Jaded Grin, in her Midgar Soap, really stretched me with her Robin Williamsesque Genesis-your Gen is vastly more controlled but as domineering. Like you, I don't think of him much, except as a foil for someone's else's story. He's certainly interesting and complex enough for a lot of investigation, so I thank you for this. I wouldn't have gone there on my own. A gaggle of guys, slowly waking up, a moment when they each get all of Gen's attention yet no one has to give up any of the snuggly warmth of the others. It's as good a way to start the day as one can ask for! I'll bet it's almost Thanksgiving there, too. Greetings to you, and may the sun shine on you and yours wherever you are! mc

I'm totally impressed at how you captured Genesis in this One Shot. Sweet, Loving, Sexy all that is Genesis. Really enjoyed this story and I wish there were more stories with him for he is such a unique person.

Ahem - yeah. I love this story. I've seen many takes on Genesis' character. Some are horrendous, some are weird, some are cheesy, others are decent, a small amount are GOOD. But this? This is the best I've seen so far because he's so blooming different but the SAME! He's still snarky, and sarcastic, but he's also a tender and patient companion and a wonderful lover who pays attention to the needs of his significant others. I love your Genesis. Can I hug him? Please? *gives author Zack-puppy-eyes* Pretty please? Oh, no, wait, I don't wanna fight Sephiroth and Angeal AND Zack for a hug, so um. . . I'll just stick to admiring him them.

Really well done with this fic, because I absolutely love it. Another fabulous read from a supremely talented author.
