We read and liked the Hunger Games and you're wondering why something as trivial as rape (trivial in comparison to the depravity of the books, mind you) is popular?

Sei que esse é um assunto delicado, mas essa não é a realidade? E ainda mais dura do que essa? Gostei do que você escreveu, principalmente no segundo capitulo. Eu não escrevo muito bem e quando as minhas amigas e os meu professores vem o que escrevo, aceito tranquilamente as criticas, e como você mesmo escreveu, criticas são construtivas e aquelas que ofendem são destrutivas.

Mas a comparação para aqui, pois eu achei que você escrevesse muito bem, principalmente esse assunto tão delicado. Sinto muito ler tão tarde a sua história.

This was a realy good story and I'm really sad to not read the ending because it was well written... and as for this Daisy person, why would she read a story that clearly has the word rape on the summary. If you are really fuckin touchy about the subject then don't read it. Sounds pretty logical to me. But she just had to read it and trash talk about it. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all. Hope you allow someone to adopt and continue the story!

Well, I think that it's great that this story's been abandoned. That way I can imagine how I would have liked it to unfold, and I don't really have to worry about the possibility of the author making a mess of things in a future chapter!

Oh and what's even more hilarious, is that 'Daisy' deleted her review because of everyone saying bad stuff about her, so those who agree with 'Daisy' and calling BCBass a coward, don't you think Daisy's the REAL coward?

You're story is amazing and i'm not just saying that to make you feel better, I'm telling the truth. I'm not going to force you to post the second chapter. It's totally up to you. And the mean comments some people posted are just down-right hilarious. They're basically just wasting their time writing a hateful comment saying that your story doesn't deserve reviews. Well aren't they just supplying a review themselves? It doesn't make sense. And let's see they write a better story. I agree, everyone has different opinions but sometimes, it's best to keep them to yourself if you have nothing good to say. Anyways, thanks for the first chapter, it was brilliant (:

I would really appreciate it if you would post a second chapter. I know you say you're done with it but I found the first chapter so good. It would be a shame if you stopped writing this all together.

Well, that IS quite a review. My advice? Disable anonymous reviews. The reason your story gained recognition is because it is written incredibly well. I've been browsing through these archives for two days and have found a handful of stories worth reading. I know I'm not one to talk when it comes to ignoring harsh words on the Internet but this seems like it would have made quite an addition to the hunger games archives. I could see the potential drama, character development, and emotional development that would have boiled over into a must read fic. I'm disappointed that there are those out there who do not see the beauty behind taking such a terrible theme and running with it. Your first chapter is not perfect but it is not atrocious and terrible and I'm running out of clever things to say. I hope you'll fall out of your sorry pit (that's what I call it, usually takes two to five months for me to get out of it) and say to hell with it and go on. It's these things that help to teach the world to fuck off.

Im so sorry that your story wasn't appreciated. But I really think that although the premise is heavy, it is probable that he had the impression that that had slept together and would've wanted to remind her. Can you please post the next chapter? I really want to know what happens to her in D12. If you don't want to risk it that's fine, I just wanted you to know that you do have the ability to work with difficult themes. I really appreciate that you at least kept the first chapter up. Gabi

It saddens me to learn that you will not continue this story as it is an amazing one. I get that as an author you can't help but take a review personally. Yes rape is a very controversial topic and I'm sure you understood how risky a story like this would be. I believe it was worth the risk. This is the first hunger games fic I read that deals with rape. I've been looking for a story like since I started reading hunger games fic. I'm not pro rape or anything sadistic like that but I love the angst that those stories bring and like to see how authors tackle it. I think you did it tastefully without being too brutal.

The best part of these fics is the aftermath. The greatest writers or even the best professionals will get criticized. If you were not doing something right you would not get the critism you are getting.

I strongly encourage you to continue this. I know it's been a while and maybe you have already forgotten this story but don't. Take another look at it and strongly think about it. I'm ashamed to say that I rarely write reviews but an an avid reader. I could not continue without writing something

You said your time in the Hunger Games fandom is over, so I don't know if you still use this account, or check your reviews somehow, but have you ever considered someone else to finish this fanfic for you? I mean, you still have the credits for the idea and the first chapter, but I think the ones who actually liked the story deserve an end if it is possible.

I think you should post the chapters you have written. Don't let bad/negative/hurtful reviews stop you. You are right, it is supposed to be an enjoyment and escape. It is the people that clicked on and read this story even after reading the summary which states there is a rape, and after the warning stating that there is graphic sexual violence. You did your part. Don't let them stop you. I'd like to see how the story ends and if Peeta recovers and if they will be able to put it all behind them :)

Im so sorry to hear that terrible review. That person shouldnt have reviewed and honestly has no right to say the things she did. Your story was original, creative, bold, and heartfelt. I have read many fanfics about rape and while it is a touchy subject, few can write it as well as you have. I was so looking forward to the second chapter. Continue writing and dont let anyone else convince you otherwise.

And the comment about other authors deserving better recognition... I feel like i have read the same stupid plotline for hunger games fics over and over again. Its all becoming one big picture and few authors are left with the creativity you have.

Once again i really loved your fic and hope you continue to grow as a writer for the sake of this fandom!
