And thankfully, he's ruminating on it in a thoughtful way without over-reacting or buying a one-way ticket to Denial-land. :-) I LOL'd when I read the line about all the rainy scenes in romantic comedies. I've always thought those were ridiculous, too, so it was great to see him questioning it, too. I think that after all that women's magazine research, it would be funny if it paid off in a casual throw away remark in a future chapter where he tells one of the girls something fashion related, like, "those slacks would look much better with an oxblood surplice wrap top," or "you would look better in a pink shade of lipstick with your cool toned complexion," or something else equally un-Sheldon. :-) Really looking forward to the result of his phone conversation and what happens next! Thanks for sharing. |
