venus4280 5/4/02 . chapter 7 This is soo good! You have really done a fabulous job- such great characterizations for Severus (sarcastic, but deep down in places he doesn't talk about in public good person) and
Harry- a sweetie, who in sleep and fever addled randomness would offer to clean up a spill.
I am soo glad you were able to work one of poor Harry's nightmares in there- give Snape a little perspective.
The sock thing was cute. What a cliffhanger- this is very suspenseful and cool!
you rock, well-written and believable- the Hagrid, baby animal medicine thing was quite funny.
Good job, particularly on the characters.

Lady Readalot 5/4/02 . chapter 7This is good! Skittles...original!) Good thing that the Skittles makes the afflicted person unable to do magic, 'cuz then there might be some nasty curses flying. Well, not really but I hope you get my poit. Anyways, enough rambling. You write well. Keep it up. More soon (please?) |
Practical Magic2 5/4/02 . chapter 7If wishes were fishes, we'd all walk on sea, hmmm? I wasn't expecting to see more of this story for a while, and then Poof! it appeared _. Excellent. The gifts from the Slytherin's were very touching. |
Practical Magic2 5/4/02 . chapter 3*lol* I love this story. It's a really interesting take on the possibility of Wizarding Chicken Pox, of course. Poor Harry, and poor Snape! Please post more soon ). |
 Tia'RaHu 5/4/02 . chapter 3 This is a pretty good story - it's whimsical and well-written. Please continue! |
necessarily-anonymous 5/4/02 . chapter 3is everyone who can help Harry going to get Skittles? |
gwen 5/3/02 . chapter 3 oh dear. but why wasn't snape innoculated like everybody else? write more! now! |
venus4280 5/3/02 . chapter 3 This is surprisingly good (sorry- but the title makes it seem like it will be one of those stupid attempts at Humor in the Harry Potter Universe)
I decided to give it a try because it was Harry and Snape- and I am very glad that I did.
Poor Harry (and Snape I suppose :) anyway, great job, can't wait for more,

Tidmag 5/3/02 . chapter 3 Medical emergency indeed.
Well, hope someone finds him soon.
And he's way older than Harry so how will this effect him?
Continue when you can.

Mark JGC 5/3/02 . chapter 3I reserve this complement for only a very few of the best HP fanfics: this is the stuff great fanfics are made of! (Redundant, I know, I'm sorry.) You have an origional plot that fits with the HP premise but doesn't intrude with it, and you're telling it in a very professional style. This seems like it's going to be a fairly straighforward story, but I want more! |
 Tidmag 5/3/02 . chapter 2 Okay...that explains that.
Wonder if muggle candy skittles is based off of the disease...wonder what the wizards think of the muggle candy
This is very interesting and getting more so.

Tidmag 5/3/02 . chapter 1 I was unsure at first, but this is a lovely fic to be sure.
yes, I like it. Now I have to read the other chapters.

KensingtonGold 5/3/02 . chapter 3oh my god. ok, maybe no one else finds something like this remotely freaky and scary, but i AM the girl who passed the chicken pox to all of my 16 cousins, some of them who were 16, 17 years old. *shivers*
great fic by the way! (poor snape.) hahaha. keep up the good work! |
Enfleurage 5/3/02 . chapter 3The title - Polka Dot Plague - sounded WAY too cute but I decided to chance it anyway.
What a lovely surprise. This is well-written, entertaining, and original. So far everyone is in character and there are lots of the details that indicate an author has put time and effort into writing the story. The dream Harry has in Chapter 2 is the first dream of which I've read in HP fanfic that actually seemed like a dream, with various areas of Harry's life overlapping. And though I anticipated Snape's illness, the scene unfolded well, capturing his hurried attempts to complete the potion. More, please!
Oh, and btw, do you know that Skittles (the candy, not the disease) contain 100% of the recommended daily allowance of vitamin C? Just a little justification for those 3PM (or AM) snack attacks. |
