ReadingRed 4/9/12 . chapter 1awe, so sad and sweet at the same time. I loved it. I really felt like it had the same essence as the show. |
 sonsofanarchydarkangel 12/31/11 . chapter 1awww how sweet i love this story |
 Running-Wild22 12/17/11 . chapter 1Awwww That was so sweet. |
kas19 11/28/11 . chapter 1So sweet. I love Tara's interactions with Filthy Phil and Abel. Its so refreshing to see her have relationships outside of Jax & Gemma. |
Alikatt31 11/27/11 . chapter 1Love it! Such a sweet scene with Tara and the boys! |
Ela09 11/27/11 . chapter 1Awww, Just a couple days ago I was looking for stories about Tara and her boys and couldn't find one, so thanks so much for writing this really cute one! Now I just need a story about Jax helping Tara while she has her hand in the sling and one about their life if they made it out of Charming. Just some ideas :) |
VDStar 11/26/11 . chapter 1That was so good! First spot on with Phil! For a large guy he's always ducking a bit, constantly trying to make himself look smaller. I loved Tara's thoughts about the prospects and the back and forth between wanting to get to know them and afraid of them dying.
Able's reaction to Tara's hand brought tears to my eyes. It was just the two of them for so long, I totally think they have a special bond. I'm know it's a one shot, but hopefully you'll consider continuing it, I would love to see Jax come in and watch that scene, his thoughts at that moment. |
 beverlie4055 11/26/11 . chapter 1love the chapter |
Beth 11/26/11 . chapter 1 This was beautiful!
Her kids mean so much to Tara and you captured that. Her family is all she has left, and with Wendy as a threat, I see Tara going into old lady mode to stop that (but in her own way, of course) |
Absolutely Cullen 11/26/11 . chapter 1I WUVVV my Abel. He's such a doll baby. The little boy they use is so precious. I can just imagine him cuddling up to Tara and kissing her hand to make her boo boo all better. It broke my heart when Tara was feeding the baby the bottle knowing she'd have a hard time picking him up afterwards. I don't know how Tara is going to adjust but somehow she needs to get back to the loving caring mom that she was and let go of the pain (not just physical) that's she in. She seems so said and despondent all the time now. |
ScarlettOhara 11/26/11 . chapter 1 oh God I'm sobbing buckets over here now! I need something like this in the show. Tara and her little boys. I love how you described Thomas as being such a combination physically of Jax and Tara but his personality lending itself to his father, already demanding to be noticed and part of the action and Abel being the spitting image of his daddy. I don't think I could handle Wendy getting that kid from Tara. He was meant to be her's and he is her baby boy just as much as Thomas is. Tara with two teenaged boys who look and act just like their father. God help her and the girls of Charming lol. |
katbrown88 11/26/11 . chapter 1I absolutely loved this. You captured perfectly how Tara has lost her way out and it's finally setting in for her. In addition to losing her surgical life she can't even take care of her babies now. I'm going to assume that all of this will bring on a new Tara that we've never seen.
Love the way you capture her and Abel together. She's the only mother he's ever, and hopefully, will ever know and his innocence in this world is so refreshing. |
Eve Levine 11/26/11 . chapter 1That was lovely. Very sweet and sad moment for Tara. Phil is an odd character and I liked seeing him through Tara's eyes. But like Tara thinks here, seeing the new prospects on the show makes me miss Half-Sack again.
Abel is such a cutie and him understanding she was hurt and kissing her boo boo was incrediby sweet. I also loved the observations about Thomas being an animated little guy. And I like the notion of Abel looking like Jax but being more thoughtful and sedate like Tara, while Thomas looks more like Tara and acts like a flirty miniature Jax.
You also bring up a really good point with this one-shot. How does Tara manage the basic care of mothering these two boys under the age of three with one arm in a sling, and later when the sling is gone, with one hand not working the way it should? |
