Great job with this. Love the whole concept - although it is awful that Sam suffers from Dean's problem, realistically that's the only way Dean would ever recognize his drinking as a problem in the first place - and there are so many good lines here.

"Dean likes that expression, the one that says we've got 'em and I trust you and so many other of the important things they never actually say." Awwww. :)

'"Deeeean," he says, stretching the vowels out like he does when he's out of it, and he smiles a little, kind of distractedly. Not that Dean'd ever admit it, but it's pretty freaking adorable.'

That was actually too cute for words. Such an amazing fic overall. You are a really talented writer.

Very nice. Believable. Painful. Damn this whole season, despite many of the individual episodes being pretty good. (Don't get me started on the clown thing vis-a-vis that Sam is presumably still suffering constantly from PTSD hallucinations, handling it with inhuman resolve, and getting no credit. Good thing giving him credit without running him down some other way.)

I'm not saying 'The Hollow Men' isn't pretty much made to be the theme poem for this show, but in exactly how many fics have you referenced it?

Wonderful story, liked the non-linear format you used, I think it really made the story! :D The part that really got me though is when Sam just asks Dean to stop because he just cant go on anymore and that it's okay because everything will just start all over again. And Dean realizing that maybe his alcohol problem isn't just self destructive and that it might affect those around him. Again wonderful story! C:

Ugh, loved this. I really, really want to see Show tackle something like this with Dean's drinking. Because, honestly, the only thing that's going to snap him out of such a self-destructive addiction that he's been using as a crutch for years is it somehow hurting Sam. And the way his drinking is being brought up so much this season, it seems like it *should* be leading somewhere. Thanks for sharing!

But I wanted to tell you this was great and I hope the show thinks of something like this to address Dean's problem. Love your Supernatural stories and your Cal Leandros stories (there are not a lot of writers in that universe, I hope you write them again). Thanks for sharing your great work.

Great story! The dialogue with Sam and Dean and the conversations Dean had with himself, were very true to life. Sounded exactly the way they would talk. Very gritty and real. Thanks so much. I loved it!

Ironically enough,I think this is exactly the wake-up call Dean would need on the show. I think Sam getting hurt because Dean's been drinking or distracted is what would make him pull his head out of his *ss in regards to his drinking. And ironically enough, I doubt the writers will go there so I love you for writing this! Perfect wakeup call for Dean mixed for wonderful hurtSam and protective (if drunk) big brother. Awesome!
