Splinter's letter was very heartfelt, and at least Raph is going to go home and try to make amends. I really hope he does and that he gets the peace he needs. You can tell Splinter misses his son and is sorry for what happened. I'll be eagerly awaiting an update to see how this plays out. Nicely done.

This story keeps getting better and better. I love the characters Raph meets, especially the old man and the little girl. It should make him think that no matter how hard he thinks he has it with his family, there are always those worse off in the little girl's case. In the old man's case, he was able to get a second chance at making things right. Maybe Raph can do the same, though I doubt he will. He's got too much pride for that. Nicely done.

I love your description of Raph's inner turmoil but somehow I've got a feeling it isn't going to be that easy for Raph heading home or facing his family.
