This is truly beautiful... I really like George in it, it is kind of how I imagine him

Further feedback, as promised!

I think my favourite thing about this story might well be the imagery. From the first line, when George is looking through the city, and as he goes through each of his senses for temperature and smell of snow. And, of course, those 'lines' across Rispah's face.

The two characters were superbly themselves - not only in the way George speaks, but the constant weighing of his position in his mind (and Alanna, because I'm a sucker for those two as well), and Rispah's down-to-earth logic. Also, A for Rispah realizing Alanna's a female!
