Although im not a big Hunger games fan ,I think you wrote an awesome story:)

Ugh, sorry I didn't review earlier. .
Anyway, I /loved/ this chapter. I did some fangirling about the angels. They were awesome, a really cool addition. I loved that they took the tributes and tested them. And I really liked Golden's POV.
Poor Bassolo though! I was so sad when he died, I nearly cried. I loved him, now Eve's lost her ally. But I really liked him thikking about the technology when the angel took him.
And I really want to know what happens with Pomona and Eve... good that Eve got her supplies, but I love the element of her still having a knife, so it'll be interesting to see if Pomona tries to hunt her down or something.
Eight tributes left! I'm really looking forward to seeing who makes the top 5 and what happens with the angels now, so please update soon!

This chapter was great and I felt so bad for Bassolo. The angels were very creative and I was very happy when Lucy passed her test. Im wondering if every tribute will have to go through the angel's process though.

GOD. The weeping angels terrify me.i tried to draw one the other day and stopped cuz i was scared it was gonna come to life. i actually read this in class today, but my phone said i couldnt reply so...

R.I.P. Bassolo and Mace, you lived... Suckishly...
And i like that Lucy passed, i like her, and i was scared that my character would kill her, or Rochelle and her kill Hayata, or Hayata kill Rochelle... You get the point... Hayata getting tied like a cow is a much lovlier experience.

A truely great chapter, glad to see you will be updating regularly again. I really liked the whole atmosphere of this chapter, very creepy and foreboding. I also like the POV from Golden, I can tell you really put your personal feelings into that part, about how hard Golden worked on the angels and the pressure to finish them, it mirrors the effort you put into the story and the pressure you feel to update. Well done.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm planning to throw in some references to this story in my new SYOT, I like slipping easter eggs to my favorite works in my writing, and I guess you do as well judging by the Dr. Who reference. Anyway I look forward to the next update!

Yay! I've been waiting for this forever! I think this is my favorite chapter so far. I love the whole thing with the angels and Mace and Bassolo are my favorite deaths so far, mostly Bassolo as much as I loved him. I really liked the stuff with Rochelle and Lucy. I love how their relationship has developed and I like that Lucy is realizing that these are not simple games and she seems to be growing up a little. I cannot wait for the next chapter!

I fangirled at the moment you began describing the Angels. The Angels have taken over the Arena! I did not expect to see them in this story, so I hope we get to see more POV's from Game Maker Golden and find out where he got the idea for them.

The list of the tributes fears was a creepy touch, if just because the Capital actually got access to it when the tributes never mention them. The fears themselves all make sense once we have gotten to know our tributes better.

Don't blink. *Cue fangirl reaction*

The way Mace and Pomona play off of each other in this chapter is great now that the alliance is just consisting of the two of them. We have Mace, the leader who is steadily falling from grace, and Pomona, the girl with the better sense of what is going on. The tension between them is written well and you can tell that this alliance is not going to last very long with just two tributes in it left.

The way the angels are introduced is creepy. It really reminds me of any Doctor Who episode where they are first introduced, and since the episode 'Blink' scared the cr*p out of me, you can bet I was scared out of my wits when I read it.

It's kind of a shame Doctor Who as a show probably wouldn't exist in Panem, because I can see Bassolo and maybe Eve being fans of the show and recognizing the Angels in a snap.

I think my favourite part in Pomona's POV is this line: "When I come home, everyone will love me, adore me. But… what will my family do? They've seen me kill and torture innocent little children here, enjoying their pain and suffering. I shrug. They'll just have to deal with who I am." I think it's a great summary of what will await her should she be a Victor. Heck, this line might as well encompass any homecoming for any Victor. While their district loves them for bringing glory, their family will hate the monster who came home instead of that beloved family member.

The fact that her POV ends with her remarking that she still has her dagger leaves plenty of opportunity for the next POV. Will Pomona face her fears with the Angel or is she going to go after Eve and fight her? Tune in next time.

So the Angels make you face your worst fear? I don't recall that on Doctor Who, but it's still a very cool addition that makes the Angels all the more threatening. It's a shame that Mace loses his fight with his personal demon. It feels, reading it, that his brother has finally kicked his butt once and for all. That is, until the reader remembers that Mace's brother will never get another chance to volunteer. Mace took that opportunity away from him. So Mace's demise is more like a bittersweet ending. He won't live to see glory but neither will his brother. So it all evens out for him.

Rochelle's POV is by far the most heartbreaking of the chapter. Once again, she keeps on loosing the people that she loves the most. Her listed fear makes even more sense now that she has lost the girl she has sworn to protect.

Bass admiring the technology of the inner world of the Angel is a nice touch. It feels natural that he would take the time to notice it. Very District 3 of him. The situation that he is put in reminds me of a Saw trap, minus the part where the victim has to maim himself in order to be free. I don't know how this fits in to Bass' fear, but it plays off of his intelligence and using it against him. His death is by far one of the most regrettable ones in this story and I am going to miss him. He was very, very likable and it's a shame to see his intelligence being the thing that undoes him in the end.

Lucy's POV in the Angel's Inner World was kind of weird at first. But after reading it again, I think I understand what she had to do in order to escape. I like that you included this POV, not only to further look into Lucy's POV (it has been such a long time since we got to see one from her) but also to show that the Angels can be outsmarted. The last line where she and Rochelle are reunited was a tearjerker. This is the moment where the reader knows that Rochelle will do anything to make sure Lucy is safe. And based on it, we can infer that their relationship is going to go into a deeper level.

I can't wait to read the next chapter. I am looking so forward to seeing how this story will be resolved.

Happy anniversery! It's been a year (and one day) since this story started. I'm still waiting for another update, I really would like to see another, I think we've had one update in the past 8 months, but I still think this story has something left in it. This is the first SYOT I submitted to, it inspired me to write my own which I have had a great time with. I emplore you to finish your story!
