Great story! As soon as I saw that it was listed as "Complete," I began reading it immediately. (I think that I've told you how I often try to wait until a fic is finished before I read it so that I can read it all in one sitting, if time permits.) This fic is really well-written (as expected, after reading your other fics) and great characterization. I like how vulnerable and open that Auggie allows himself to be with Annie here, and how she treats him exactly the same as she did before he lost his sight, rather than someone deserving pity or delicate handling. That seems logical from the Annie we know from the show and how easily she accepted his blindness as just part of him from the moment that she met him in the first episode. This complete acceptance of his new situation made me think about a different scenario: if Auggie had come back from Iraq missing a limb or even paralyzed, I think that Annie would have treated him exactly the same. She'd support him emotionally and help him integrate himself back into his old life (via the dinners out and weekends away from the rehab center), bit by bit. She'd still be his best friend and trusted confidante, no matter what.

But, I'm rambling again. Sorry about that. Wonderful fic, and I look forward to reading more CA fics from you in the future. :-)

An excellent story. I wonder how it would work out with the Ben, Liza, Eyal, Parker, Jai, and Natasha situations as Auggie (in this case) KNOWS what Annie looks like. I would like to see how those plots planned out and how Annie and Auggie come out as a possible couple. I would like to see you continue writing from this standpoint and see what would make everything different with the seasons we have. How would everything unfold? And how, do you think, Letters Never Sent would REALLY come out for Annie and Auggie, if they knew each other before his accident? Please consider writing from this new perspective with episodes in mind. I find it wonderfully refreshing!

I have really been enjoying this story all along. I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to reviewing much. You did a great job exploring Auggie's insecurities both about going blind and about going back to the DPD. I am looking forward to a sequel (hint hint) that works out his early days back on the job. I bet he'll run into a serious obstacle or two. You portrayed Annie just the way she would have been, I think. I'm glad you didn't rush into romance here. Would have been too much like "pity sex". But the hints of a potential intimate relationship are there. Being completely A/A, myself, I would love to see that developed. :) Blessings. Looking forward to everything you write.

Yay! Auggie is slowly but surely becoming the Auggie Anderson we all know and love! Huzzah! It makes me quite happy, I'll tell you that.

Another marvelous chapter. The road to recovery is hard, but he's doing wonderfully. I can't wait to see him as the awesome tech guy we all know him to be.

My only advice is that you have a couple of Run-On sentences and some out of place commas. Other then that, perfect!

At the risk of being redundant, I just have to say again, I love this story! I am really enjoying your interpretation of Annie and Auggie's relationship, and the role reversal as she is building his confidence with each new challenge he faces.
