Awwww. This is sad. I cant believe some people actually live like this. Anyway I love this chappy. Especially the parts where Fletcher helps her and is concerned. I'm all for that whole protective brother like thing. I think maybe olive and fletcher should get paired up on an assignmrnt and fletcher unexpectedly comes to her house while her father is beingabusive. Like, he hears yelling so he almost leaves, but then hears beating and screaming and goes in cause the door is unlocked. But you probably have something entirely different planned for that. Wow! This is really good! I didn't expect something this well-written, since most of the stories here on the Archive are, well, not as phenomenal as this one!

I loved all the descriptions and metaphors. They really made the story come alive. Aside from proper grammar, spelling and sentence structure, I think descriptions are the thing that can make or break a story. Reading a story is just no fun without the "icing on top!"

I really like the part where you said, "...she just wanted someone to love and care for her." For some reason that was a really emotional statement to me, possibly because that's more or less how I feel right now. But here, I'm clogging this review with my personal life. :P

Anyway, I can't wait to see what you're going to make out of this first chapter. Please update soon!
