Read all three chapters. A great story as Peter gradually returned to his family after all the horrors he's witnessed when a POW.

How slowly you took the time to show us how peter with Edmund help came back to his family. Edmund in Narnia saw many things so he probably realised Peter need time to come to terms with his memories.

Love the ending a little confused with the situation with Eustace obviously something has gone wrong between himself and his parents.
Quite amusing how Peter used Eustace arrival to get Edmund to sleep in his room saying in answer to Edmund question
"Why am I in your room?"
"Thought we'd let Eustace have some space to himself."
He smiled, thinking it had more to do with the fact that his brother wanted him closer to him than any sort of space arrangements. But he'd let Peter have this facade if he wanted it."

A brother helped another brother come back to his family and I guessing they'll sort out Eustace as well.

I had to go look if you had written any other stories I might like, and I did.

Some authors manage to convey this brittle quality, their words hinting of an underlying darkness the words just skirt around, never touching, but it is there. Oh, it is so clearly there.

You do the same here, most clearly in this last chapter, where Peter finally is back. Scarred still, but back.

I love how you've written Peter and Edmund, and Peter's anger over Edmund's injury was perfectly written. I can't wait to read more!

"You kill him and you'll have to live with aunt Alberta." makes me think it wasn't her.

"I wouldn't let that woman near a dog I didn't like." makes me think it was.

Confused!

But I love how Peter and Edmund take care of each other. So sweet! Well done.
