A very well done story. I enjoyed the background you developed for some many points of the anime that left me wondering (especially the names of the twins and the nature of the Plants). Again, great job!

This story is amazing! Everything works so perfectly. Rem is really an interesting character, and it's nice to get a little idea of what her life was like before getting on the SEEDS ship.

This is a very nice beginning. I never thought Rem would be one to think about taking her own life, but then maybe the reason she pushes Love and Peace so strongly is because she's been there and she knows what it's like to want to kill yourself. I loved the bit where she explains the significance of Vash and Knives' names, as well as that of her own. And Alex's introduction was so fitting (a military man ... interesting given Rem's philosophy in the series).

I like your characterization of Alex. He shares some of Rem's beliefs, but also influences her so much. I like her Spanish heritage, I like her backstory. You have quite a grasp on the English language. Even though I know how this is going to end, I still wanted to know what happened next. You did a great job with a little-used character.

The last words of the story literally sent a chill through my spine. Awesome story. Defenitly the best Trigun prequel I ever read. Write more.

WOW! That was one of the best Rem fics I have ever read (and believe me, I've read a lot of 'em)
You really showed her as a person with motivations and thoughts and fears...and that ending, I knew it was coming but the cutoff still felt chilling. Your grammer was good too, and your descriptions of events and people were just concise enough to leave the reader happy and not bored. Can I suggest improvement? Nope, you really let your imagination take you away on this one...and you know what, it worked! Congrats!

Well, I've always particularily liked the ending. Cropping it off at that point- nice touch. I enjoy.

Poor lil' boys. I think Steve should have talked in simpler terms tho. You have him say things like "can not". I imagine him using "Can't" or "ain't," just cuz he seems like a rough guy. I dunno. Rem's elaborate speech worked, it sounded really "Rem-y..." but... I was having visions of Steve in Rem's outfit :-P
