This is incredible - I love dystopian stories, especially dystopias where people still manage to scrape up happiness from the ashes. You showed very convincingly what it would take for Wes to step out of his grief; you also did a great job making me root for Lorne/Fred, which may be one of the few BtVS/AtS ships I haven't encountered before.

One minor bit of constructive crit - you use "it's" a dozen times or so when you actually mean "its."

I don't think there are words to describe how much I've enjoyed this story. I love what you've done with all the characters and all the 'ships portrayed and this is a very convincing AU. I'm hoping the imminent-sequel vibes I got from the ending are true, because I'd definitely like to read more stories in this universe.

This is a very good, very well written story. I do hope that Wes ends up okay & back with his old friends. And together with Fred, but that may be too much to hope for!
