Reviews for: Talking With Wolves
Mystikwriter 2/1/10 . chapter 1
Poor Michael. He's so used to being the one with all the answers, not having them is bound to make him a touch cranky. Just a touch though. I mean...pulling a stiletto is like a friendly pat on the back for him. hehehe -

Love your Airwolf stories. Smashing my head into a wall as punishment for not reading them sooner.

Love Michael's growing pile of cutlery, I didn't catch that tidbit until my second read through. However, no truly memorable quotes, like

"If that's what's loose in Cascade, subtle can go to hell!" Caitlin panted as they fled, staggering around graven stones. "I want cannons!"

"And Hellfires," String agreed.

Great story, great ending. Beautiful descriptive phrases, and layers and layers of underplot...hard to beat.

"...now that the Committee thought the Company had the Lady..."

Convoluted phrasing, much? Although it is rather fitting for the labyrinthine layers of the Game, I still stumbled when I read it.

This has to be one of my favorite UL fics. Just don't ask me to be any more specific than that, because if you asked my favorite UL fic I'd end up saying "all of them". (Why don't these stories have more reviews, anyway? I think it must be because they're so good they stun people speechless.)

Alright! I'm so glad that Dominic, Cait and Arcangel are accepting the link- I'd hate to think how Angel would feel if they said no. 'Course, I can't picture anyone saying no anyway. One thing is for sure, the bad guys are going to have to try a heck of a lot harder now.

This took two readings for me to fully comprehend the layers of meaning in this, but this. Is. Gorgeous. Beautiful and heartbreaking and totally mind bending (pardon the pun).

I can so, so hear this conversation:

"Santa Maria, String, you're telling me that thing's been in our heads! What d'you want me to say? Hi?"

"Might be a start...She's still your Lady, Dom."

Gave me chills, for sure. And I love the playfulness and the fierce loyalty of the Lady. Reading this gives even more meaning to 'Breaking the Jesses.' Whoa. Heavy stuff.

Love it!

Good story.

I will mention repeatedly that I love the entire Urban Legends universe you’ve created. And I particularly love seeing Archangel from the different perspectives, inside and outside. As an extremely smart and dangerous operative, but also distinctly human. You give him a depth that the TV show can only hint at.

One thing that occurred to me while reading this particular story is that Archangel is right in thinking that Airwolf has seriously compromised him as a deputy director. He now has a telepathic link that to several other people that can be used both to get secret information from him and alter his own mind and emotions. So far it hasn’t noticeably affected his abilities but there may come a time when he has to relieve himself of duty. Even without this, Archangel must know that eventually there would come a time when he would have to step down or possibly be shot down. What preparations has he made to keep his second-in-command up to speed on events?

Anyway, I love your writing and hope you’re still making more. Thanks for posting.

Yep, definitely going to take a while to read everything.

The character's reactions were very real. I really enjoyed the suspensful moments, as well as Dom's having to de-arm Michael. The fear the other piolts felt at having to link to Airwolf yet being unable to resist it...that was very poignant.

I really liked the story. I can't wait to read more of your stories.

Once again: Great. I am really curious how the relationship between String/ Airwolf/ Michael and the rest of the crew develops in the future.

Do you have a web site where all of your stories are available?

Great work (as ususal)! Nice way to handle the

situation, having the stoic Hawke be the first to

bond with the newborn Lady, and then introducing

her to the others. Santini genes notwithstanding,

though, I think it's time our Heroes went skinny-

dipping in the Fountain Of Youth... I just wish

the Lady could go a lot further than just 85,000

feet up... Keep up the good work!

Grumble...grumpft. Lucky stiffs. Wish I could 'just' pop up to 85,000 feet and look at the stars.

Oh, this is good, good, good! Thanks so much!

Do you have a web site where all of these are available? (PLEASE let it be NOT a geocities site; those tend to give me the blue screen of death symptoms!)
