That's a heck of a place to leave us! I have a mental picture of two bullets flying down an alley way in slow motion, one that may hit Bobby, and the other may hit Randy,or Eames. Egads!

The murder room was gruesome. How could they live in that place? I know they will not be getting back their cleaning deposit.

Declan is such an annoyance. I hope he actually made his flight and will not be making anymore late night visits to Bobby's home. Of course depending how this slo-mo shoot out ends, Bobby may not need a home.

Good question; why does Declan hate Eames so much? Maybe he is just jealous that she gets to spend time with Bobby. I have a horrible suspicion that Dec is somehow involved with all this. I hope I am wrong and my feeling is just based on the fact that Declan is a dyed-in-the-wool, hanging-from-the-rafters nut case.

"...Goren met Eames' eyes, a thousand words of understanding and trust passing between them in the briefest of moments..." This sentence...I love. The chapter...I love. The story...I'm loving. But the cliffhanger...oy!

I also like that Declan keeps popping up...though his timing stinks!

I like how well you write Declan. Sounds completely like him. I hope he stays out of the way or at least does something more productive. Well, maybe him dropping hints about Bobby's feelings well help at some point.

Nice cliffhanger. I was so excited when I saw you had updated. I know I'm supposed to dislike Declan, but I don't. He's an interesting character played by the sublime John Glover, and I'm glad he's in this story. It's interesting that he doesn't like Eames.

I liked the 'Goren moment' about the bartender's behaviour, especially as it came well after the events. Bobby's mind must have been processing and anomaly. The crime scene was very vivid, and the bond between the brothers was evident. Way to end the chapter on a cliffhanger. You're a tease about the kiss also, but I like that. I hope you update soon.

You are such a tease lol. Im really hoping Alex stays the night, as those creeps are outside waiting for her and Bobby needs to make his move. Love this.

At some point, "Laurel and Hardy" had to have scoped out the place to see where the cameras were. Curious to see if they wind up finding any tapes in advance of these events. Once again...sounding great! I absolutely love the flirting and playfulness. And I can visually see them pulling this off so well. Throughout this I'm also having flashbacks to the final scene of CI. Wish we had seen more of that! Anyway, great story. I'm reading on.

This was a delightful evening, marred only by the fact that Creep and Creepier are lingering around waiting to kill Alex. Bobby was right, the chase is fun. I love that Bobby wants to take advantage of Alex but only in the most affectionate way. How truly Bobby-ish! I really hope Alex's lips go numb real soon so there will be no question of her going home tonight. Maybe Creep and Creepier will get to experience cryogenics first hand. I really like your story and I have to admire Alex's restraint. If Bobby were "testing the waters" with me, well we would have drowned by now.

This is sooooo good! Can't stand the suspense between Bobby and Alex getting closer and the killers getting closer to Alex!

I like how you can convey the sense of touch through your words; Bobby is so handsy. I also liked the apartment door fantasy.

The tension was doubly heightened when I found out that those guys were watching. It was jarring and distressing and very effective. Now I doubly want Bobby to take her to bed so she isn't uh..taken.
