Really enjoyed the revenge/lover story. Richard deserves a girl like her, let's cross our fingers and hope he gets that lucky! Great job, I particularly liked the french aspects of it.

That happens to me all the time. More often than not I think. Simonne's personality is definitely the defining characteristic when thinking about or describing her in any capacity but ultimately a good story will bring a visual of sorts. Peoe Will pi,ture her how picture her... I kind of like how her looks aren't mentioned so much.

I just saw 'Black Swan' over the weekend, and as I watched Natalie Portman I was wondering if that's what Simonne looked like, but it didn't quite click. I just never really got a picture of her in my head...with Simonne, it's more about her personality, I guess. Also, have you ever read a story where you get this image of a character, but the author describes that character completely different? And keeps mentioning a trait, say red hair, but you keep wanting to picture blond hair. I've had that happen a few times andit irritates me.

I know I'm just reviewing this story for the first time but just so you know I've been reading since you first posted Simonne :) I'm a huge fan.

It took me a little while to find an actress that closely enough matched my mental picture of her. You know Pulp Fiction? Do you remember Butch's girlfriend? That's how I always pictured Simonne. She's an actress by the name of Maria de Medeiros. If everyone thinks I'm crazy that's all right. That's how I picture Simonne.

Loved the last chapter! I pictured simmone shorter than richard slim but toned bc she is a dancer. Kind of a natalie portman look but with slightly more curves. Hope that helps!
