Heero always had the gun at her, she was always the one holding on, now it is the other way around, Relena has the gun and Heero is holding on. Relena threw away everything, EVERYTHING so that she could be true to herself, and she is strong enough to do it on her own, but Heero, though strong on the battlefield, when it comes to his emotions, he needs help. Emotions and a soldier in Heero are seen as separate, emotions hindering the soldier in him. Relena finds a way to use his soldier instinct to allow Heero to understand his feelings on his own. He no longer has to be a soldier, he no longer wants to be a soldier, but he sees himself as a victim of his circumstances (pretty deep for someone who has such a shaky, unknown past). He is a soldier becuase he was TOLD to be a soldier. He has to protect Relena becuase he had said he would. He does everything for everyone but himself, though his military actions...Relena takes those military actions and shows him that it is ok to be true to HIMSELF for once. I always knew she had potential wink GREAT JOB!!

You really kept true to the characters-Heero would be unsure, Relena would get tired of waiting, she is human after all-strong, but human. I love how it seems all will work out perfectly in the third chapter, but in order to really appreciate how much they mean to each other (as if war at the age of 15 and the Eve Wars weren't enough), they needed to go through these trials you present, only this time with baka Heero acknowledging his feelings-and with the help of friends of course! Kudos! Take a bow, slap on the back, you desearve it! miz_lou
